We collect information you provide directly when creating an account, making a booking, or contacting us. This includes your full name, email address, phone number, national ID or passport number, and driving licence details. We also automatically collect device and usage data such as your IP address, browser type, operating system, pages visited, and interaction timestamps when you use our website or mobile applications.
2. How We Use Your Information
Your personal data is used to process and manage vehicle bookings, verify your identity through our KYC procedures, generate KRA-compliant eTIMS invoices, communicate with you via WhatsApp and email regarding your bookings and account, and improve our services. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.
3. Data Storage & Security
All personal data is encrypted at rest using AES-256 encryption. Documents such as ID copies and driving licences are stored using signed URLs with time-limited access. Payment processing is handled through PCI-compliant gateways (M-Pesa and Paystack) — we do not store your full card details on our servers. Financial records required for eTIMS compliance are retained for a minimum of 5 years in accordance with KRA regulations.
4. Your Rights
Under the Kenya Data Protection Act, 2019, you have the right to access your personal data held by us, request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data, and request deletion of your personal data where there is no compelling reason for continued processing. Upon account closure, personal data is anonymised within 3 years unless retention is required by law.
